Lucasfilm's series based on the Star Wars universe, "The Acolyte", has received a release date on Disney+ and the first trailer
Fans can be patient, Disney+ have finally announced a release date for another Star Wars series called "The Acolyte" and revealed the official trailer.
When We Can Expect It
The release date for "Star Wars: The Acolyte" was announced on Monday on the official Star Wars account, which also hints that there will be more news tomorrow. The series will be released on the streaming service on June 4.

Here's What We Know
The series is directed by Lesley Headland, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef.
Events in The Acolyte series are set in the final years of the Republic's Golden Age in "a galaxy of dark mysteries and the growing power of the dark side", roughly one hundred years before the events of Star Wars. Episode I: The Phantom Menace" (1999). A young woman, formerly a Padawan, and her Jedi mentor begin investigating a series of crimes and encounter forces that turn out to be darker than they ever imagined.
