The new trailer for "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" reveals a lot more details about the film than the previous trailer did

With two months to go until the release of the highly anticipated Mad Max prequel starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer that is much more telling than the last one.

Here's What We've Seen

While the first trailer only slightly lifted the curtain on what the upcoming story is all about, the new promo offers a deeper insight into the main character, Furiosa, and reveals the journey the character will take to become the person she was in Mad Max: Fury Road.

Here's What The Movie Is About

In "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga," during a time of world collapse, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and finds herself in the hands of a powerful biker order led by Chief Dementus. On their journey through the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel, under the control of Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants battle for power, Furiosa must go through many trials to gather strength and find her way home.

The cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson and Quaden Bayles. Franchise creator George Miller will return to the director's chair.

When We Can Expect It

"Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" will be released in cinemas on May 24.
