LG releases Android 13 update for its latest flagship smartphone LG Wing
LG has, as promised, started rolling out an update to Android 13 for LG Wing smartphones.
Here's What We Know
The LG Wing is the manufacturer's experimental dual-screen smartphone, which was introduced in 2020. It also became LG's last flagship smartphone, as the company soon decided to close its mobile division.
While other manufacturers have long since updated their flagship models (and beyond) to Android 13, LG seems to be following the "better late than never" rule. The Korean market was the first to receive the update, and distribution will soon begin in Europe and elsewhere.
The F100N40a firmware weighs around 1.4GB and contains the March security patch. It includes several new features such as display of device control shortcuts on lock screen, preview, sharing and editing of copied text and images, simplified multi-window functionality and detailed management of notification permissions for each app.
