Microsoft Teams Premium is now available for a 30-day trial

Microsoft Teams Premium subscription is now available as a public preview, allowing users to test out intelligent AI-powered features such as real-time translations, custom meeting branding, and advanced meeting security.

According to Microsoft's blog post, the Premium subscription is an add-on for Teams that provides access to a host of new features that should make meetings on the platform "more personalized, smarter, and safer." You can subscribe to the preview version through the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Features currently available for testing include live translation from 40 languages in the form of subtitles, custom meeting templates and an enhanced webinar experience. The preview also includes features to protect sensitive content, such as watermarking and tagging, as well as end-to-end encryption for meetings. These meeting protections can also be used to prevent users from recording meetings and copy/pasting the meeting chat.

Of course, not all the features that were announced earlier will be available right from the start, but the list will be expanded over time.
