Microsoft launches Azure OpenAI service with ChatGPT
This week, Microsoft plans to launch Azure OpenAI, a service that will allow companies to integrate DALL-E-like services into their own cloud applications. The service has been in testing for over a year and will soon include access to ChatGPT, the conversational artificial intelligence that was all the rage last year.
Here's What We Know
The Azure OpenAI service contains a number of artificial intelligence models created by OpenAI, including GPT-3.5, Codex and DALL-E, so companies and developers can use these systems in their applications and workloads. Microsoft is actually packaging GPT-3.5 with the scalability you expect from Azure, as well as additions for management and data processing.
Developers will be able to use Azure OpenAI to build their own applications that use artificial intelligence for support queries or content matching to improve search results in online stores. Similar models are already used for document summarization or text analysis.
