New Transcend JetDrive Go 500 with Lightning and USB 3.1

Transcend has presented their new flash drive line called JetDrive Go 500. The model features two connectors, the Lightning one for the newest iPhone, iPad and iPod and the USB 3.1 one on the other side. Metal enclosure is in silver and gold colors. The size are 32 and 64 Gb. The Lightning connector is a little bit longer for those who love their iPhone in cover cases.

Data trabsfer speed of Lightning can reach 20 mbps and USB 3.1 Gen 1 beats the Lightning with upto 130 Mbps, so an average HD film of 4 Gb can be transfered in 28 seconds. Both drives feature special iOS software to store video and photos right to the drive, make backups and copy files from iOS devices to PC. Prices are not announced yet.
