Moto G 5G (2023) - Snapdragon 480+, 120Hz display, stereo speakers and Android 13 at $250
Motorola has announced the budget-friendly Moto G 5G (2023) smartphone alongside the flagship Edge+ (2023). The novelty turned out to be more than one and a half times cheaper than the 2022 version.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone has a splash-proof plastic body. On the front, there's an IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels) and a 6.5" diagonal. The fingerprint scanner is not aligned with the Motorola logo on the back, but is embedded in the power button on the side.
The Moto G 5G (2023) features a Snapdragon 480+ chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz and Adreno 619 graphics. The RAM is 4GB, the storage capacity is 128GB and the battery capacity is 5000mAh.
The novelty gets 15W fast charging, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, USB-C and a headphone jack. There is no NFC chip. The main camera resolution is 48 MP + 2 MP, while the front camera is 8 MP. Both can only shoot video in Full HD with a frame rate of 30 FPS.
Price & When We Can Expect It
On May 25, the Moto G 5G (2023) will be available in the US for $250. The smartphone will be available to buy from Motorola's official website, Amazon, Best Buy, as well as from mobile operators T-Mobile, Metro, AT&T, Boost Infinite, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Google Fi, US Cellular and Consumer Cellular. The novelty is available with Android 13 operating system.
