Moto G Play (2024): budget smartphone with 50 MP camera and Snapdragon 680 processor for $150
Motorola launched the Moto G Play (2023) smartphone in 2022 and today it has unveiled its successor, the Moto G Play (2024). It is a budget smartphone that has received some improvements over its predecessor.
Technical Characteristics
The Moto G Play (2024) features a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and fairly thick bezels, along with a fingerprint scanner built into the side button. Inside, there's a Snapdragon 680 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The storage is 64GB, but it is expandable via microSD card.
On the front panel is located 8-megapixel front camera, on the back - the main camera with a 50 MP sensor and flash.
For autonomy is responsible for the battery capacity of 5000 mAh with support for charging up to 15W. "Out of the box" smartphone runs on Android 13.
The new Moto G Play comes in a single colour Sapphire Blue. It costs $150 and will go on sale in the US from 8 February.
