Motorola Edge 40 Pro: 165Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, IP68 protection and 4,600mAh battery with 125W charging for €899
Motorola has unexpectedly unveiled a new flagship smartphone called the Edge 40 Pro in Europe.

The new product is a global version of the Moto X40 smartphone that debuted in China in December. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has received the same specifications.
The smartphone is equipped with an OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, as well as support for HDR10+ and 165Hz refresh rate. The panel has a diagonal of 6.7". The screen is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus tempered glass. At the front, there is a 60 MP front-facing camera. The main camera has three 50 MP + 50 MP + 12 MP sensors. It supports 2x zoom and optical stabilisation (OIS).
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and is powered by a 4,600mAh battery. It supports 125W wired charging, 15W wireless and 5W reverse charging. The smartphone also gets IP68 water protection, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage and a microSD card slot.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the Motorola Edge 40 Pro will start in the coming days. The novelty will cost €899 in Europe.
