Nothing Phone (1) will soon get a beta version of Android 14
The annual Google I/O developer conference kicks off on 10 May, where Google is expected to unveil a new version of the Android 14 operating system and launch a beta program. It looks like young startup Nothing will be among the first whose users will be able to test Android 14.
Here's What We Know
Ahead of the launch, Google is sending out early access invitations to smartphone manufacturers to speed up the rollout and integrate new features seamlessly. And Nothing is among them.
The manufacturer's announcement says that owners of Nothing Phone smartphones (1) will soon get access to Android 14 Beta 1. But there are no specific dates yet. It's also interesting to see how quickly Nothing will be able to release a stable version of Android 14. Given the pace of the beta launch, it probably won't take long.
Incidentally, this will be the second major operating system update for Nothing Phone (1). The smartphone debuted last year with Android 12 before getting Android 13.
