The Nothing Phone (2) smartphone has received its first update: what's improved?
Just a few days ago, Nothing unveiled its new Nothing Phone (2) smartphone. Official sales will only start on Monday, and it has already received its first update.
Here's What's New About It
Judging by the changelog, the update turned out to be quite substantial. First of all it concerns the camera: added portrait mode with support for 2x zoom, motion capture supported in 50 MP mode, optimised HDR efficiency "across the board", better clarity of photos at magnification ratios from 4x to 10x, improved camera quality in third-party apps and reduced lag when shooting videos, which also get an improved stabilisation algorithm.
Apart from these, the manufacturer has improved battery and charging performance in extreme conditions, wireless charging, network stability, face unlock and fingerprint sensor performance.
It also fixed bugs related to the Quick Settings extension and NFC, as well as general, unnamed bugs.
The update is distributed "over the air" and weighs in at 105MB.
