OnePlus 11 is the company's first smartphone to be updated in five years
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the company is extending support for its devices.

The new flagship OnePlus 11 will be the brand's first smartphone to be supported for 5 years. We are talking about 4 years of Android operating system updates and 5 years of security patch updates. Right now, the OnePlus 11 is running on Android 13. That means the device will definitely get Android 14, Android 15, Android 16 and Android 17.
We're adding another dimension to Fast and Smooth. The #OnePlus11 is our first flagship supporting 4 years of Android versions and 5 years of security updates.

The OnePlus 11 debuted in China in early January. The global launch of the new product will take place on February 7. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 ROM, a 50MP + 32MP + 48MP Hasselblad camera and a 5000mAh battery with 100W charging.
