OPPO A56 5G: 6.5-inch screen, dual camera, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and up to 11GB of RAM for $250
OPPO announced in China a new low-cost smartphone with fifth-generation network support - OPPO A56 5G.
What we know
The device is the successor to OPPO A55 5G, which debuted earlier this year. The novelty has received an all-metal body with three colors, as well as a 6.5-inch LCD display with a drop-cut. Under the hood of the device works the same 8-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 700. The chip works in tandem with an embedded 5G modem and up to 11GB of storage (6GB of physical memory and 5GB of virtual). The storage in the device is installed for 128 GB. It can be expanded with a MicroSD card if desired.
On the back side of the device there is a rectangular protrusion, on which the LED flash and a dual main camera with 13 MP + 2 MP sensors are placed. The front, in turn, received a single module. Also OPPO A56 5G is equipped with a battery of 5000 mAh, 10-watt charging, NFC and lateral fingerprint scanner. The novelty runs the operating system Android 11. On top of it installed shell ColorOS 11.1.
Price and when to expect
OPPO A56 5G is already available for pre-order in China. The device costs $250 USD.
