Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 rival: OPPO unveiled the Find N3 with dual displays, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and Hasselblad camera
OPPO, as promised, held an event in China, where it announced a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 - foldable smartphone OPPO Find N3.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received an updated appearance, but the same book form factor as the previous version of the device. On the front side of the gadget placed 6.31-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of 2484×1116p and a dynamic refresh rate of 10-120 Hz. The panel has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a peak brightness of up to 2800 nits. The smartphone's internal display is 7.82-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2440×2268p, a refresh rate of 1-120Hz and the same maximum brightness.
OPPO Find N3 is powered by the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of ROM. A 4805 mAh battery is responsible for the battery life of the novelty. It supports SuperVOOC charging with 67W of power. From 0 to 100% smartphone charges in 42 minutes. The novelty has a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and a USB Type-C port.
On the back of the gadget installed a triple main camera Hasselblad. The main sensor has a resolution of 48 megapixels. It is complemented by a 64 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical and 6x hybrid zoom. The smartphone also features a 48 MP wide-angle camera. In addition, OPPO Find N3 comes with two front sensors at 20 MP and 32 MP.
The novelty runs out of the box on Android 13, on top of which is installed a special version of ColorOS 13.2. The gadget supports multi-window in horizontal and vertical view. In addition, some applications support split-screen functionality. For example, in Microsoft 365 you can simultaneously edit two documents or view two photos in the gallery. The manufacturer promises to update the new products for 4 years: 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patch updates.
Price & When We Can Expect It
OPPO Find N3 will be sold in China and Singapore with prices starting from $1366/$1746. In other countries, the novelty will be released as OnePlus Open.
