Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy valuable Russian Zoo-1 radar station

The artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has destroyed another Russian radar Zoo-1. The radar station was hit in the Zaporizhzhya region.

The radar was monitored by a reconnaissance drone. It tracked the movements of "Zoo-1". Ukrainian artillerymen struck when the radar station moved into position and began preparing for work.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Zoo-1 with two precision hits. A highly mobile HIMARS artillery rocket system, which is capable of striking at a range of up to 80 kilometres, may have been used.

Earlier this summer, the Ukrainian Defence Forces used HIMARS to destroy two radar stations. In June, Zoo-1 in Donetsk region was eliminated, and in July - in Zaporizhzhya region.
