Ukrainian FPV drone destroyed a Russian T-90 tank worth $2.5m in exports for $500

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have eliminated another Russian expensive tank. Once again a drone was used, which costs several thousand times cheaper.

This time the victim of the FPV drone costing $500 was a Russian T-90 tank. The video of the destruction of the combat vehicle was published on Facebook on the page of the 3rd separate presidential brigade named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky.

The T-90 is a main battle tank that was adopted by the Russian army in 1992, i.e. after the collapse of the USSR. During the first decade of the 21st century, it was the world's best-selling tank.

The cost of the T-90 for the Russian army is not specified. The export version is called the T-90S. It costs approximately $2.5 million.
