A $500 Ukrainian FPV drone has hit another Russian modernised T-90M tank worth up to $4.5 million

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have hit another Russian T-90M "Breakthrough" tank using an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The FPV drone struck the modernised tank, which was in motion. After an accurate hit, there was a massive explosion. The combat vehicle continued to move, but after a few seconds it stopped.

The extent of damage to the T-90M is not specified. It is possible that the Russians will be able to evacuate it and carry out repairs or dismantle it into parts for other tanks that were hit but not completely destroyed.

According to Oryx analysts, the Russians have lost at least 35 T-90M Breakthrough tanks in a year and a half, 20 of which were completely destroyed. The cost of one modernised fighting vehicle can reach $4.5 million. There are a total of 77 documented losses of T-90 family tanks.
