The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed three T-72B3 tanks, one T-90M "Breakthrough" and a BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle worth more than $12m in total
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully repelled an attack by Russian troops in Luhansk Region. As a result of successful defensive actions, they managed to destroy several armoured vehicles.

The published photos show destroyed Russian tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle. Three T-72B3 tanks, one modernised T-90 Breakthrough tank and one BMP-3 were identified in the footage.

The cost of the T-90M "Breakthrough" is estimated at $2.5-4.5 million depending on the level of modernisation. It costs $3 million to produce one T-72B3, and a BMP-3 costs about $0.6 million. Thus, the total cost of four tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle is at least $12 million, and may exceed $14 million.
