Writer's nightmare delayed: the developers of Alan Wake 2 have postponed the release of the ambitious horror game for a short time
Finnish studio Remedy has decided to postpone the release of the expected mystical horror game Alan Wake 2.
Here's What We Know
Alan Wake 2 was scheduled for release on the 17th of October, but since this month is extremely saturated with high-profile releases (this year it's Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Alone in the Dark, Lords of the Fallen and Forza Motorsport), the developers decided to postpone the release of their game.
The new release date for Alan Wake 2 is 27 October.
The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC in digital format only.
An update from the Alan Wake 2 team: we're moving Alan Wake 2's launch from October 17 to October 27.
