At the Opening Night Live show, CD Projekt RED studio gave a gameplay demo of the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077.
Here's What We Know
Judging by the shown footage, the Polish developers' promises that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a completely different game after the DLC release are not far from the truth.
Almost all elements of the game have undergone changes and improvements:
- new weapons and vehicles have been added;
- changed the skill system;
- revised implant effects;
- vehicles with built-in heavy weapons (machine guns, rocket launchers and the like) have been added;
- the system of police response to crimes has been changed. Now the guards of order act more coherently and realistically;
- there will be a lot of new content, locations, events, quests.
The changes are really a lot, so the developers will hold a personal show, which will be held on the 24th of August.
Some of the listed innovations will be available in the free 2.0 patch for the main game.
When We Can Expect It
Phantom Liberty will be released on the 26th of September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
