CD Projekt RED's community manager has commented on the release date of the biggest free update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077

During the Opening Night Live show, CD Projekt RED studio announced that they are preparing not only the biggest Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, but also a free update to the main game.

It remains unclear when Update 2.0 will be released: simultaneously with Phantom Liberty, before it or after the DLC release.

Here's What We Know

The company's community manager Marcin Momot explained that the developers are not yet ready to announce the exact release date of Patch 2.0, which will bring a huge number of changes to Cyberpunk 2077. The studio will announce the exact release date of the update in September, closer to the release date of Phantom Liberty.
