The gamescom 2023 trade show has come to a close, and for several days, millions of gamers around the world have been paying attention to it.
Geoff Keighley, the host and producer of the Opening Night Live show that opened the exhibition, summarised the results of the event and praised its successes.
Here's What We Know
During Opening Night Live 2023, developers unveiled trailers for such anticipated new titles as Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Little Nightmares 3, Alan Wake 2, Mortal Kombat 1, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Starfield and more.
20 million people watched the Opening Night Live show across all platforms and channels. The event's official YouTube channel alone had over 1.8 million viewers.
These numbers surpassed the 2022 numbers by 66% and became a new record for Opening Night Live.
Jeff Keeley mentioned that from 23 to 27 August Gamescom 2023 was attended by about 320 thousand people.
