Following the closure of Volition, the Red Faction and Saints Row franchises will be developed by other developers, who will be hired by publisher Deep Silver
A few days ago Volition studio - the author of Red Faction and Saints Row franchises - announced its closure.
Of course, fans of the above mentioned series got excited about their fate.
Here's What We Know
After Volition studio's closure, the rights to Red Faction and Saints Row will remain with Deep Silver and its parent company Plaion, and their plans do not include abandoning the development of the franchises.
No word yet on who will be developing the new games in the series.
Meanwhile, Volition has published a farewell address to fans of its games, in which the developers expressed their gratitude to gamers for their support over the 30 years of the studio's existence.
