Indie studio Sabotage has announced that more than 250,000 thousand copies of the RPG Sea of Stars were sold within a week of its release
On August 29, indie studio Sabotage released its RPG Sea of Stars, which immediately caught on with the audience. Now a week has passed since the release, and the developers have told us how many copies of the game they managed to sell.
Here's What We Know
In the first week, 250,000 thousand copies were sold. On Twitter, the developers said that they expected to see such a result in a year, but it happened now. The interesting thing about this story is that the game became available to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers from the day of release, but there were still many people who wanted to buy the game rather than play it in a subscription. Although, most likely, most copies were purchased by players on PC and Nintendo Switch.
We had projections for the first year, but it only took you all a single week.
