No need to upgrade: Mortal Kombat 1 authors present the game's system requirements

Mortal Kombat 1 developers have published the game's system requirements on Twitter.

Here's What We Know

There is nothing unusual in the requirements. An i5 processor, GTX 1080 TI graphics card, and 8 GB of RAM are enough for a comfortable game. But if you already have little free space on your SSD, it's better to clean it up, because the game needs 100 GB of free space.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (Ryzen 3 3100 is also suitable)
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 470 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
  • DirectX: 12
  • Windows: 10 (64bit)

Recommended:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400k or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080TI
  • DirectX: 12
  • Windows: 10/11 (64bit)

When We Can Expect It

Owners of the premium edition will be able to start playing tonight, and the full release will take place on 19 September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
