Not revolution, but evolution: Capcom unveiled gameplay footage of Dragon's Dogma 2, a dark fantasy RPG set in a dystopian setting

At Tokyo Game Show 2023, publisher Capcom presented a gameplay clip of the Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG.

Here's What We Know

The core gameplay remains unchanged from the first instalment: the player chooses a character of one of four classes (Thief, Warrior, Mage and Archer) and embarks on an exciting journey across a vast open world, where he will encounter huge monsters. As in the previous game, these can be climbed over to strike at a vulnerable spot.

As you pass, the protagonist will be joined by companions, each of which belongs to one of the listed classes. They perform different tasks, but all are effective in combat. They can not be controlled directly, but there is a possibility to give them certain orders.

When We Can Expect It

The release date for Dragon's Dogma 2 is still unknown. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series.
