We wrote that on September 21, Separate Ways, a storyline expansion pack for the Resident Evil 4 remake that tells the story of Ada Wong, was released. Players were so interested in the DLC that the game's online traffic grew 10 times.
Here's What We Know
According to SteamDB, on September 21, the peak online of the Resident Evil 4 remake reached 50 thousand players. Although throughout September, the peak online was around 5 thousand people. At the time of writing, RE 4 online is 25 thousand. Given that the expansion takes only 4 hours to complete and the Steam discount is valid only until September 25, in mid-October the online will return to the "old" figures, but it is always nice to see how the release of interesting content attracts players' attention.
Separate Ways DLC costs $10 on all platforms and has received positive feedback from players.
Resident Evil 4 Remake was released on March 24, 2023 and is available on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
