The abandonment of the FIFA brand wasn't a problem: Electronic Arts has shared impressive launch sales figures for EA Sports FC 24 football simulation game
Electronic Arts summarised the results of the launch sales of the new football simulator EA Sports FC 24.
Here's What We Know
Expectedly, the game without the FIFA trademark aroused less interest of the public, but still demonstrated an excellent result.
The developer reported that since the release (28 September) the number of players in EA Sports FC 24 has exceeded 11.3 million people - this number includes gamers who accessed the game through EA Play service.
Cam Weber, President of EA SPORTS, said:
In addition to bringing back millions of our long-time players, the number of new players to FC 24 is up nearly 20 per cent over last year, showing that football fans from around the world are eager to join the club.
The mobile version has also not disappointed either developers or gamers. EA Sports FC Mobile was downloaded more than 11.2 million times within 10 days of release.
EA Sports 24 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and MS.
EA Sports FC Mobile is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
