Polish RPG The Thaumaturge has received a demo on Steam until October 16, and the full release will take place on PC on December 5, 2023
Polish developer Fool's Theory and publisher 11 bit studios have released a demo of the RPG The Thaumaturge on Steam and revealed the game's release date.
Here's What We Know
The game takes place in Warsaw in 1905. The Thaumaturge is an isometric game with tactical battles and a role-playing system created in the style of dark fantasy on the Unreal Engine 5. We play as Wiktor Szulski. He returns to the capital of Poland, which seems familiar to him, but at the same time he discovers how much has changed since he was away. But at the same time, our hero is not ordinary, he can work magic, which is both a gift and a curse. There are also unearthly creatures in this world - salutors - with whom only thaumaturges (like our protagonist) can interact using the powers of these creatures.
During the Steam Next Fest, which will run from 9 to 16 October, players will be able to try out The Thaumaturge demo, which introduces the beginning of Victor's story.
When We Can Expect It
Thaumaturge will be released on December 5 for PC. Console versions (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) are scheduled for early 2024.
