Eurogamer: Team17 to lay off a third of its staff as part of major restructuring programme
Eurogamer reports that Team17 plans to cut a third of its staff - 91 people. The decision was made as part of a large-scale restructuring programme.

At the beginning of October, it became known that the company had made cuts in the quality control department. But now there is information that there will be layoffs in other departments. People who work at Team17 said that they will learn about the layoffs along with everyone else when official announcements are made. One of the developers said that people in the company first realised that the team they were working with was probably no longer working when they saw their posts on LinkedIn. Team17 employees are also concerned that the mass layoffs will slow down the production of future projects, as the company will lose knowledge and skills.
Team17 has not publicly commented on the reasons for the restructuring.
