Parents take note: Steam may soon feature advanced parental control options
The creator of SteamDB service Pavel Djundik has announced important news for parents who would like to limit children's access to some games in Steam.
Here's What We Know
According to Djundik, Valve may soon add parental control options to Steam. For example, options such as Family Groups, Limit Time in Games, and Request Purchases from Children will be available - presumably, game purchases will only be made with parental involvement. This will likely apply to microtransactions as well.
Steam is working on new parental controls with addition of family groups.

It will allow setting daily playtime restrictions.
Children will be able to request purchases.
SteamDB does not publish false information, so we can be sure that these options (and maybe others) will appear on Steam in the near future.
