Activision explains why you need to free up 240 GB for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

On November 2, the story campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III became available to those who pre-ordered the game. However, players were stunned to learn that they needed to free up more than 200 GB (240 GB to be exact) of space to play the game. But Activision explained to players why so much space is needed.

Here's What We Know

The company said that this size is due to the presence of a large amount of content, such as zombie mode, support for items carried over from Modern Warfare II, as well as map files for Call of Duty: Warzone. However, you can always manage files in the COD HQ menu to free up space. For example, when you have completed the story campaign, you can easily delete it and leave only the online mode.

When We Can Expect It

The full release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place on 10 November on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
