Gamers' requests have been heeded: The War Within add-on for World of Warcraft will offer the ability to synchronise progress for all characters on your own account

At the BlizzCon 2023 festival, the developers from Blizzard announced one of the most important innovations of The War Within add-on for World of Warcraft.

Here's What We Know

In the next addon, the developers will fulfil a long-standing wish of World of Warcraft fans.

With the release of The War Within, players will be able to combine progress for all characters on their account.

Players will be able to unite their characters into squads (warband) and thus, developing one of them, will improve the rest of the characters. Characters will have access to a common vault, achievements, collections and much more. Reputation and fame will also be shared, but only among the factions that will appear in The War Within.

Probably, the number of heroes that can be added to warband will be limited. The developers will reveal more details at the World of Warcraft: Deep Dive panel, which starts today at 20:00 (CET).
