Weekly chart of game sales in the UK: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III at No. 1 and Super Mario Bros Wonder down to No. 3
Last week's UK retail chart showed the 10 best-selling games.
Here's What We Know
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III took the 1st place. Although sales are 25% lower than in Modern Warfare II, this did not prevent the game from becoming a leader. Most of the game was bought on PlayStation 5. However, it is also worth remembering that critics and players did not like the story campaign, which is called one of the worst in the history of the series. This is even evidenced by the scores on OpenCritic, where the game received only 56 points out of 100 from critics.
Football Manager 2024, another new release of the week, was in 5th place. EA Sports FC 24, another football simulator, is still in the 2nd place. Due to this game and MW III, Super Mario Bros Wonder dropped from the No. 1 spot to No. 3. And Spider-Man 2 is now in 4th place.
Assassin's Creed Mirage has also been in the top ten for more than a month. Sales have dropped slightly, but the game is still in 10th place. Hogwarts Legacy and Minecraft (Nintendo Switch), as always, are not going to leave the chart.
