After a major update to Half-Life and a free giveaway on Steam, the game's online presence has grown more than 20 times
On 19 November 1998, the first Half-Life was released. This year, the game celebrates its 25th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, Valve decided to give the game away for free on Steam until 20 November. Valve also released a major update to the game, which attracted a lot of attention from players.

According to SteamDB, the game's online peak has been updated. At the time of writing, there are 22 thousand players in the game. The figure continues to grow every minute. Before the free giveaway, less than a thousand people were playing Half-Life at the same time
