Starting November 21, Steam will allow you to vote for the best games of 2023 in 11 different categories, including the best game on Steam Deck
It was already known that the autumn sale and voting for the best games of this year will start on Steam in November. Now Valve has provided more details about the voting.
Here's What We Know
Steam has prepared 11 different categories, including one new one - the best game on Steam Deck.
Here's the full list of categories:
- Game of the Year
- VR game of the year
- Favourite game
- Best game on Steam Deck
- Better with friends
- The most innovative gameplay
- Great storyline
- The best game in which you lose (no offence)
- Incredible visual style
- The best soundtrack
- Make yourself comfortable
You can even get Steam awards for participating. You need to nominate a game in each category, play one nominated game, and write (or update) a review of the nominated game. Complete all the tasks to get 100 experience points.
Voting will start on November 21. On the same day, the autumn sale will be launched at 14:00 (EDT) or 11:00 (PDT). We already know that it will include such games as Hunt: Showdown, Terraria, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, Hitman 3, The Elder Scrolls Online, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sons of the Forest, Subnautica, Deep Rock Galactic, F1 23, Starfield, Valheim, The Last of Us: Part 1, RimWorld, and others.
Voting and the sale will last until 28 November.
