Magic shooter Immortals of Aveum could soon be coming to Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus services - talks are already underway to do so
Immortals of Aveum was released at the end of August 2023 and despite its unusual setting, Electronic Arts support and a large-scale advertising campaign, it failed to gain popularity among gamers and its sales were extremely low.
The head of Ascendant Studios Bret Robbins gave an interview to Windows Central portal, in which he shared his plans for the future and his thoughts on the reasons for the failure of the game.
Here's What We Know
The developer connects the unsuccessful release of Immortals of Aveum with an extraordinary abundance of high-end games in 2023, which drew attention away from the magical shooter - simultaneously with this game came such "giants" as Baldur's Gate III, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and Starfield.
Bret Robbins said that Immortals of Aveum will "almost definitely" appear on Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus services. Negotiations are currently underway with Sony and Microsoft, but it's unclear when agreements will be reached.
The head of Ascendant Studios said that his team is already working on a new game, but did not disclose its details.
Recall, a few days ago for Immortals of Aveum released a major update, after which a free demo of the game is available on all platforms.
