Steam now allows you to play VR games through Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro wireless virtual reality glasses
Valve has added an important feature that will help owners of wireless virtual reality headsets such as Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro to play VR games on Steam.
Here's What We Know
Steam Link, the free Steam app that uses your PC to stream Steam games to phones, tablets, and TVs, is now available for Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro.
To play VR games with the wireless headset, you need to connect an internet cable to your PC, connect the headset to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network (the PC and headset must be on the same network). Your computer must also have at least an NVIDIA GTX 970 graphics card and Windows 10. Although Valve states that the recommended requirements are an internet connection with Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E, a computer with 16 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2070 or higher graphics card.
