"New Game+" is coming to Assassin's Creed Mirage as early as next week, and permanent death mode won't be added to the game until early 2024

The developers of Assassin's Creed Mirage have revealed that their plans for the next major update have changed slightly.

Here's What We Know

Ubisoft has confirmed that the New Game+ mode will appear in Mirage as planned next week. Players will be able to retrace Basim's story, retaining all the skills and gear from the first playthrough, and will also have access to new rewards.

The December update was supposed to include a permanent death mode for the protagonist, but for unnamed reasons the release of this option has been delayed until early 2024. Earlier it was reported that Permadeath mode will be available on all difficulty levels and, as the name suggests, when the hero dies, the game will end and the playthrough will have to start over.
