Hogwarts Legacy received the most searches on Google in 2023

Google has published a list of queries that people around the world searched for the most in different categories in 2023, including games.

Most people were interested in information about Hogwarts Legacy, which immediately indicates that story-based games can easily compete for popularity with multiplayer projects.

The Last of Us is in second place. This year's popularity was mostly influenced by the release of the series of the same name. The latter, by the way, took the top spot in terms of queries in the series category.

Starfield and Baldur's Gate 3, which received a lot of attention among players, were ranked 5th and 6th respectively.

However, the most surprising fact is that the Russian game Atomic Heart is in 9th place. There were so many cool games released this year, and people still made massive requests for low-quality products, which is upsetting.
