17 million players in Fallout 76: Bethesda summarised the results of 2023 and talked about plans for the project's development

In 2018, the online game Fallout 76 faced enormous criticism. The project was in a terrible technical state, it was boring and uninteresting to play, and marketers made as many mistakes as game designers and programmers.

But over time Bethesda corrected most of the shortcomings of Fallout 76 and managed to keep millions of gamers in the game.

Here's What We Know

Summarising the results of 2023, the developers from Bethesda reported that 17 million people got acquainted with Fallout 76, while a year ago this number was 13.5 million.

The creators of the MMO-shooter thanked gamers for their interest in Fallout 76 and briefly told them what awaits players in 2024.

  • The second part of the expansion Atlantic City will be called America's Playground and will be released in the spring of 2024. The game will feature new story and additional quests, locations, characters and more.
  • Another major expansion will be released later, in which players will be able to travel deep into the wooded area of Shenandoah National Park.
  • In addition, some events will be re-launched in 2024, and brand new activities are being prepared.

Fallout 76 continues to evolve, and it's certain that the Fallout series, due out in spring 2024, will attract new players. It will premiere on Prime Video streaming service on 12 April 2024.
