Ukrainian studio Mauris presented a new gameplay trailer of pirate RPG Corsairs Legacy.

Here's What We Know

Corsairs Legacy is a spiritual successor and continuer of the concept of the once popular series Corsairs (Sea Dogs).

The developers showed gameplay footage, where you can see sea battles, travelling on sailing ships, exploring various locations and visiting forts, prisons and trading settlements.

Overall, Corsairs Legacy looks similar to its predecessor from twenty years ago, but with much better technical execution. However, due to the relatively small budget, players should not count on ultra-modern graphics, but Mauris studio promises a significant amount of gameplay opportunities.

When We Can Expect It

The presented video says that the game will be released in January 2024 in Early Access on Steam. The exact date is not yet known, as the service is conducting the approval process for the game.

For now, gamers will only have access to half of the story campaign, with the second part coming later.

Corsairs Legacy can be added to your wishlist on Steam and you can try out its demo, also on Steam Deck.
