Eurogamer has named its best games of the year: Cocoon in first place
The Eurogamer portal has presented a list of its gaming favourites in 2023. However, there are two lists, due to the year full of good games. The first one consists of 40 games that were very enjoyable but fell short of the leaders. They are listed in alphabetical order. The second list contains the top 10 games in no particular order.
Here's What We Know
Eurogamer gave the first place to Cocoon, the debut game of the Danish indie studio Geometric Interactive. In this sci-fi adventure puzzle game, we play as a beetle that carries worlds enclosed in spheres on its back.
The second place went to Baldur's Gate 3, which doesn't even need to be introduced. And Rytmos puzzle game rounds out the top three.
It is also worth noting that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is in 4th place, and Alan Wake 2 closes the list.
The top 10 games of 2023 according to Eurogamer:
- Cocoon
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Rytmos
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Mediterraneo Inferno
- Pikmin 4
- The Banished Vault
- A Space for the Unbound
