PC version of Wild Hearts was the worst PC port among 2023 games according to Digital Foundry experts
Recently, Digital Foundry experts named the Alan Wake 2, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Cyberpunk 2077 are the games with the best graphics of 2023 according to the Digital Foundry team.
Of course, the list of the most unsuccessful PC-ports from a technical point of view was also included.
Here's What We Know
In 2023, a lot of PC ports with questionable technical quality were released. Many games had huge problems with performance, optimisation, texture quality and rendering speed. Some games were freezing even on the most powerful computers, although, according to the system requirements, this should not happen.
Among such games were The Last of Us Part I, Forspoken and Redfall. However, Digital Foundry experts noted that although the overall quality of the ports of these games leaves much to be desired, they became much better in technical condition after the release of patches.
The worst PC ports of 2023 according to Digital Foundry were:
- Wild Hearts
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
- Dead Space
The developers of these games failed to significantly improve their optimisation and performance, which makes them uncomfortable to play even after the release of numerous patches. And the situation is unlikely to improve.
