The producer of Monster Hunter has revealed sales of the last three instalments and invited gamers to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary
Capcom has wished fans of its games a happy new year and reminded them that March 2024 will mark the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter franchise.
Series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto wished gamers a happy year and took the opportunity to announce a number of important points.
Here's What We Know
1. Tsujimoto recalled the recent announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds and emphasised that the game will be released in 2025, but gamers will hear the first details about the new part this coming summer.
2. The producer thanked gamers for their interest in Monster Hunter games and gave sales figures for the last three instalments:
- Monster Hunter: World - more than 23 million copies;
- Monster Hunter: Rise - over 13.5 million copies;
- mobile Monster Hunter Now is free, it has been downloaded by more than 10 million people.
Recall, earlier Capcom reported that the cumulative sales of the Monster Hunter series exceeded 95 million copies.
3. In March, the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter will begin. In honour of this event developers have prepared a number of interesting events, including the choice of the best monster from 229 representatives of fauna.
