Classic horror fans will be pleased: journalists revealed 17 minutes of gameplay of Alone in the Dark (2024)

Fans of the survival horror genre are eagerly awaiting the release of the reboot of the cult series Alone in the Dark, which is currently being developed by Pieces Interactive with the support of THQ Nordic.

The game was supposed to be released back in autumn 2023, but after two postponements the release of the horror is scheduled for March 20, 2024.

Journalists of Game Informer portal got a chance to get acquainted with Alone in the Dark (2024) and shared their impressions.

Here's What We Know

The Game Informer video shows 17 minutes of gameplay of Alone in the Dark (2024) for the heroine Emily Hartwood, the role of which was performed by famous actress Jodie Comer - the star of the series "Killing Eve" (Killing Eve).

The girl finds herself in creepy locations, where she meets aggressive monsters on her way and has to fight them off with the help of weapons with limited ammunition.

Journalists and viewers in the comments honestly noted that Alone in the Dark (2024) is not distinguished by breakthrough technical performance and the highest quality graphics, but it is a great game for fans of such horror games as Resident Evil and The Evil Within.

By the way, the video shows Emily's meeting with the second main character of the game - private detective Edward Carnby, the role of which will be played by the famous actor David Harbour - the star of the series "Stranger Things" (Stranger Things).

When We Can Expect It

Alone in the Dark (2024) will be released on 20 March 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
