Apex Legends was the most profitable game on Steam last week, beating Counter-Strike 2 and Baldur's Gate 3
Every Tuesday we cover the weekly Steam sales chart. Well, let's not break this tradition and take a look at the changes that will surely surprise fans of online shooters.
Here's What We Know
Among paid Steam products, the leader of the week remains the Steam Deck handheld console, followed by the hit co-operative horror game Lethal Company and the RPG Baldur's Gate 3, which, compared to the previous week, changed places.
Among relatively new games only tactical shooter Ready or Not appeared in the chart. Familiar games such as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Rust, Anno 1800 and GTA V also returned to the Top 10.
The Full List of 10 most profitable Steam games (January 9-16):
- Steam Deck
- Lethal Company
- Baldur's Gate 3
- Call of Duty
- EA SPORTS FC 24
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
- Rust
- Anno 1800
- Ready or Not
- Grand Theft Auto V
An unexpected situation occurred among the leaders of free-to-play games. Counter-Strike 2, almost invariable leader for many years among all products in Steam, has lost its position, and two network games at once. And for the past week the most profitable conditionally free games of the week were Apex Legends, PUBG and, finally, Counter-Strike 2.
