Pocketpair Studio is quick to reassure players that its upcoming project Palworld is not a scam - in the FAQ section of the game's Steam page, the studio states that Palworld is a full-fledged Steam game that can be purchased once and played for free.

Probably, such a decisive statement is related to the scandalous history of The Day Before, which was initially presented as a huge open-world MMORPG and then turned into a cheap zombie shooter. The Day Before has already disappeared from Steam, and its servers are to be shut down soon.

Instead, Palworld will launch on PC in early access on 19 January. It is worth noting that the game will not have PvP or crossplay at the beginning.
