Rumours: the next Metro instalment will be a single-player VR game and will be subtitled Awakening

We wrote that the PlayStation State of Play presentation, which is tentatively scheduled for 31 January, may showcase a new Metro game. Now there are rumours about what kind of game it will be.

The game will be called Metro Awakening, and it will be a single-player VR game.

Earlier, a description appeared, which stated that the game would start with a dream in which you would wake up at your operational base. And the name Metro Awakening is perfect for this, but there is always a but.

Metro Exodus was released in 2019, fans have been waiting for the sequel for so many years, and we are likely to get a PS VR2 game, so most players won't even be able to play the project.

However, it is important to understand that these are all rumours, and the main thing is to wait for the official announcement from 4A Games.
