Weekly chart of game sales in the UK: Takken 8 at No. 1 and Hogwarts Legacy down to No. 7

Last week's UK retail chart showed the 10 best-selling games.

Here's What We Know

January's newest title, the fighting game Takken 8, took the gold. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which is also a new game, received a silver medal, and The plight of Captain Overpriced: a review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's story campaign, one of the worst in the series took the bronze. EA Sports FC 24 took the 4th place, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder rounds out the Top 5.

Interestingly, Hogwarts Legacy, which was at number 1, dropped to number 7, but is still not going to leave the chart. Also, GTA V returned to the top ten, which is at number 9, and the last 10th place was taken by Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Review
